We will be discussing behavior as a means of communication, why a student is showing a behavior, what need/s the student is trying to communicate, and how to make a smart guess about the function of the behavior. We will also discuss and learn at least one antecedent strategy (tool we can use before an undesirable behavior occurs to minimize the likelihood the behavior will occur).
